The scan wasn't very good, on paper it looked nicer. I did enjoy working on the hand :)

A little side note:
When I was drawing this one I tried to not just draw but recreate what this hand would look like in person, each line/crease had it's own depth, each it's own shadow and light....realism is just drawing what you see and also what you know in reality.

Ohh my goodness, this is so realistic! Absolutely perfect.
I can't stand drawing hands, but this is beautiful.
I love the shine to the nails and the skin texture.
I've never understood how you do it so realistically.

You take the breath away from everyone that looks at your work....guess you've noticed that already! :)

I'm so amazed by the quality and life-likeness (is that a word or did I just make up my own again?) of this drawing. The detail is just incredible...even down to the imperfect cuticles or the sides of the fingernails.
