It took me a few weeks but I finished it! I believe there are 70+ hours into this one. I'm pretty satisfied with the outcome but feel there are still weak areas. My favorites parts are the shadows on the face, the chair and eyes....least favorite are the sweater and the ear. The digital camera did not capture the true tonal depth of this portrait, even the ear looks better on paper as do all the skin tones.

All and all there is a good balance of darks, midtones and highlights and this makes me very happy :D. Thanks for looking and if you would like to see the many wip images of this portrait please look in my scrap gallery.

There's a pretty cool Chevelle shot. I'm a huge fan of that car too, but I'm a 70 fan more so than the 64. None the less, an amazing car.

I'm guessing that this picture is one of his senior year pictures. Very nice. Love the shadowings of it all. the face is perfect. :]

First of all I want to tell that your works are amazing! You're so talented person. In your drawings it is so much love, inspiration, toil and patience! When I saw your works for the first time, I’ve been impressed. I’ve seen your arts one year ago and wanted to try to draw though slightly to come nearer to this world of creativity more closely. One of my first drawings I drew, looking at your art, unfortunately, I didn’t know that it’s Your work. I have tried to draw the anime character, looking at this your drawing. I have published it for a long time ago, but I've found out just now that you are the author of the original art. I’ve credited you in comments, but if you object I will remove my drawing, of course.
