Artist's Comments

Hi again, I drew this portrait a few months ago for a family member. This one took a while to finish, especially the hair. My favorite part is her mouth because drawing teeth has always been somewhat of a challenge to me.

11 x 14 graphite
Smooth Bristol
3b mech, 3b, b and H
blending stumps and tissue

EDIT: I had no idea so many people did not like this young lady... I am not a hateful person so reading some of the comments have shocked me. Oh and I don't think wishing someone dead is constructive criticism.

Beautiful and Amazing. Great job.
Wow great detail! It looks exactly like a real photo of her
I think the teeth came out great. And the hair, wow! Are the eyes really that light? And from far away the nose looks really weird, but better up close, I think.

Excellent work. What lens did you use for this? ;)

there are two kind of people in this world; my kinda people and assholes. :finger:
Linda, that's one of the best drawings I've ever seen. The mouth is spectacular; the lips, moisture and texture of the gums, the light play in it; the teeth; everything is amazing. And the hair is so realistic I thought initially it was a photo ref instead of the work.

Fantastic execution! Brilliant!
