This quick drawing was done to test a piece of illustration board. I didn't care for the texture and I'm not to sure if I will use the board again.

15 x 20 inch Crescent 100 Cold Press Illustration Board
b, h, and 3b graphite
tissue and blending stumps
20 hrs

Edit:
20 hrs is pretty quick for this size, but because I chopped the reference there wasn't alot of her to draw. :D

wow you are so brilliant! this is phenomenal! lol my drawings take that long but aren't nearly as good! btw, i draw my portraits freehand, but i've been wondering if you recommend the grid method or not? i've heard about it recently and thought I'd try it, but i didn't know if it really was worth it. (:

Her lips are perfect, VERY full which is a main feature in Jolie's face. Her eyes are incredible, very beautiful indeed :D Your shading is phenomenal- as always :) you never fail to amaze me time and time again. The blending is really well done, you capture the light incredibly.

I applaud you, salute you, look up to you, everything imaginable that means praising you, I do it! You truly are an aspiring artist of which I look up to and am inspired by you.
