...the old drawing board.

I used a 3b mechanical pencil
b, and a little H
Some graphite powder for the background and blending stump and plain tissue for blending. I worked on this one for 2 weeks, took longer to draw due to the softness of the overall fur and lack of contrast too.

I used to love drawing with pencils in my younger and freer days... as awesome as your work is, I find how you get around the drawing really strange though. It's as though you fully finish random patches with barely a sketch to go by...

Beautful! One thing I want to be able to do is draw animals one day. Background question, how do you get the background shading so smooth with no pencil lines showing?

You're way beyond any words suitable for praising! So, I won't even try! Without trying to, you're my role model for drawing now. I haven't learnt Art formally either and you inspire me, like a fire lighting my path! :-)

Hi! was wondering what exactly you used. It seems here you only used 2 pencils and a tortillion, but I'm not sure :) Also, how long about this this take you?
