B E A U T I F U L why would you sell it? I would miss it terribly but you know the ol' saying.....grass is always greener....STAY. It's too tranquil and serene to give up beside the way the government and the economy are going, well what ever you do there's an open lot for building right next door to me!!
Your home is like a piece of Heaven Linda It's the most gorgeous I've ever seen...I could really and I mean "really" see myself living there... I must say...your asking price is not much for a house of this size and acreage...WOW...Won't be long it will be sold for sure It's spectacular!!!!!!!
Gorgeous place and house . Where I live, I'd have to pay about a 1-2 million dollars (or even more) for this much of space/land, a pond, and the house itself. I'm in NYC's suburbs area and the house prices are ridiculous around here. When I'm buying my own property, it definitely won't be in NYC/suburbs!
Personally, I think your crazy for wanting to sell such a beautiful home. I'd make it into a bed and breakfast or rent out the rooms to local college kids (good ones) to you have company again and make extra income.
All good ideas but to be honest we just want to move closer to our boys and also down-size. I do hope the house will sell to someone that wants to turn it into a bed and breakfast so that hubby and I can stay at it...how cool would that be!
She told me this morning that after she saw those photos, she had a dream about your place! She dreamt that she was walking through the house but it was empty. When she woke up, she was disappointed that you took everything out! *lol* Now you are going to have to post a photo of the inside.*wink*
Wow what a cool dream! What's funny is I plan to leave much of the furniture behind because I won't have any use for it in a smaller home...also it will be great to buy alll new stuff. Here is a link to the listing, you'll be able to see some of the rooms. [link]
Yep very low taxes! If we had the money we would have made it into a BnB but we didn't and now John and I just want to move on. The house is very pretty and unique in many ways...I'll miss it but I know my next home will be just as nice. Good luck and I hope you win big Tim!!
We have been living here 18 years, it's a large empty home so it's time to move on...I will miss the house and yard, but I will be taking with me many many memories and photos...I do hope to find something pretty but smaller
