Hi, this is Sandy the beloved pet of my sister and her family. The reference photo was taken a few months ago sometime before she was diagnosed with Cancer. A few days ago Sandy was put to sleep.
This is my first dog portrait, I did draw a sketch of my dog Lady recently but this one i spent 3 days drawing on and off. I'll be giving the portrait to sis in a few days when i see her. Thanks for looking! Merrry Christmas!! ~Linda *edit* I used smooth Bristol paper 3b pencil and a tiny bit of H eyes were blended and some hair 30+ hours |
